⚙️ SaaS Engineering
Getting a product live is one thing. Turning it into something robust, secure, and built to grow is another. Whether you're scaling up from an MVP, adding capacity to an existing team, or want an honest audit of what you've got - we help you get it right.
How we can help
You have an MVP which became a real product
What started as a fast, scrappy build now has paying customers depending on it. The shortcuts that got you to launch are starting to cost you, and you need a team that can keep building on top of it without a rewrite.
You've inherited a black box
You've acquired, inherited, or been left with a codebase nobody fully understands. Before you invest further, you want an honest, independent read on how healthy it really is - security, architecture, and all.
You keep chasing ghost bugs
Things break in production that never show up locally or in staging. You've patched the symptoms a few times, but nobody's found the actual root cause, and you're worried the next one will hit at the worst possible moment.
Your're stuck on outdated infrastructure
You're still running on tools, frameworks, or hosting decisions made years ago, and every new hire spends their first month just figuring out why things are held together the way they are.
You're paying too much cloud bill for what you're getting
Your AWS/GCP spend keeps climbing but nobody's sure why, or what's actually driving it. You want someone to dig in, right-size the infrastructure, and stop the bleeding.
Your release process is a source of dread
Every deploy is a manual, white-knuckle event with no rollback plan and no confidence it won't break something. You want CI/CD and testing that let the team ship without holding their breath.

How we work
A steady, engineering led approach. Whether we're building, maintaining, or auditing
Understand
1-2 weeksWhether it's a new build or an existing product, we start by understanding your business, your users, and the state of what's already there - the code, the architecture, and the pressures you're under.
Plan
1-2 weeksWe turn that into a clear, prioritised plan: what to build, fix, or harden, in what order, and why - with fixed pricing so you always know where your budget is going.
Deliver
Ongoing, in 2-week sprintsWe ship in steady, reviewable increments, embedded alongside your team. You get regular demos and a product that's genuinely more capable each cycle - not just busier.
Sustain
OngoingThe work doesn't end at a milestone. We stick around to support, maintain, and evolve the product as your needs change - and flag what's coming before it becomes a problem.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take over an MVP built by someone else?
Yes - it's one of the most common things we do. We start by getting to know the codebase, assessing what's solid and what needs attention, and giving you an honest picture. From there we can extend it, stabilise it, or rebuild the parts that won't scale.
Can you work alongside our existing engineers?
Absolutely. We're comfortable embedding as an extension of your team - joining your standups, working in your tools, and following your conventions. We bring capacity and a second opinion without disrupting how your team already works.
Do we need a detailed spec before we start?
No - most engagements start without one. We're comfortable working from a rough idea or an existing product, and we'll help turn that into a clear, prioritised plan during the Understand and Plan phases.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance and support?
Yes. Beyond feature work, we offer ongoing support arrangements to keep your product stable, secure, and up to date - handling bugs, performance, dependency updates, and the steady maintenance that keeps a SaaS product healthy.
How do you handle technical debt?
Pragmatically. Not all debt is worth paying down, so we help you tell the difference between debt that's genuinely slowing you or putting you at risk, and debt that's fine to live with. Then we tackle the former in a steady, planned way alongside feature work rather than grinding everything to a halt for a big rewrite.
What if the audit finds serious problems?
We'll tell you plainly, prioritised by risk and impact, along with what it would take to fix each one. You're never obligated to have us do the fix work - the audit stands on its own - but we're happy to help if you want us to.
What happens if our needs change mid-engagement?
We plan in short cycles specifically so we can adapt. If priorities shift, we replan the next sprint rather than forcing you to stick to a scope that no longer makes sense.
