About Blue Cottage

Blue Cottage was founded by Jerrold Poh, an experienced tech worker who's spent the last 20+ years in engineering, product, and leadership roles - including time as a founder, and as an engineering leader reporting directly to CEOs.

Before restarting Blue Cottage again in 2026, he ran a mobile app consultancy which delivered and maintained just under a dozen native mobile apps across iOS and Android - as well as started two startups. He also worked at Urban (now Apartments.com.au) in product and engineering management (building both the Mobile app and the engineering function in the business) and also spent time at Xero delivering enterprise projects at scale.

That mix of experience shapes how he advises clients - on what technical debt is worth fixing, where AI is genuinely useful versus hype, and what it takes to get a product from MVP to something built to last.
