🚀 MVP Development
Every founder has a theory about what customers want. An MVP is how you find out if that theory holds - before you've spent months and your runway finding out the hard way. We'll help you scope it down to the version that gets you a real answer, then build it fast enough that the answer still matters.
How we can help
You want to validate the market quickly
Before you commit real budget and headcount, you want evidence that people actually want this. We build the smallest real version and get it in front of users, so the market tells you whether it's worth pursuing.
You've got early interest but nothing to hand people
People say they'd use it, but you've nothing real to give them. We build something they can actually try, so "would you?" becomes "do they?"
You need something to show investors
A deck only gets you so far. We build a real, working product you can put in front of investors - proof that your idea is credible, buildable, and already in motion.
You've been building for months but can't ship
You've got a prototype that's been dragging on and, for whatever reason, it just won't ship. We come in, find what's blocking you, and get a working version into real users' hands.
You've got the vision but not the technical side
You know your market inside out, but you can't build the thing yourself. You want a technical partner who'll turn your vision into working software - and tell you honestly what to build first and what can wait.
What included in your MVP?
Idea to evidence, without building the whole thing first
A clear, scoped plan
- Turn a rough concept into a clear, buildable plan
- Identify the core problem worth solving first
- Cut scope down to what actually matters for launch
- Define what success looks like before we write any code
Real, working software
- A focused build around your riskiest assumptions
- Real, working software - not clickable mockups
- Proven, well-supported tech that won't box you in later
- Regular check-ins so you always see progress
Real user evidence
- Get it in front of real users, not just friends and family
- Instrument the product so you can see what people actually do
- Learn what to double down on and what to drop
- Make your next decision with data, not guesswork
How we partner with you
From first call to real user feedback, here's what building an MVP looks like
Discovery
1-2 weekWe start with your idea, your users, and the assumptions your whole business rests on. Together we work out what has to be true for this to succeed - and what we most need to test first.
Scope the MVP
1-2 weeksWe ruthlessly cut to the smallest thing that proves the point. You get a clear, fixed-price plan covering exactly what we're building, in what order, and why.
Build
4-6 weeks, in 2 week sprintsWe build the MVP in focused iterations, keeping you in the loop with regular demos. You see real, working software throughout - never just a status update.
Launch & learn
OngoingWe get it into real users' hands and instrument it so you can see what's working. Then we sit down with the evidence and decide together what comes next.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is an MVP?
A Minimum Viable Product is the smallest version of your idea that lets you learn something real from actual users. It's not a cut-down version of the final product - it's a deliberate experiment designed to test your riskiest assumption before you spend big building the whole thing.
How much does it cost to build an MVP?
It depends on scope, but we'll give you a fixed quote after our discovery call so you know the cost before committing to anything. Part of our job is helping you cut scope so you spend as little as possible getting to a real answer.
How long does it take?
We typically deliver an MVP in 1-2 months. Exact timing depends on scope, which we'll nail down together during discovery - always with an eye on getting you to real user feedback fast.
What if the MVP shows the idea does not work?
Then it's done its job. Learning that an idea won't fly after a few weeks and a modest budget is a great outcome compared to finding out after a year and your life savings. We'll help you read the evidence honestly - and if there's a better idea hiding in the data, we'll help you find it.
Do I own the code?
Yes. You own all the code and IP we produce. If you validate the idea and want to keep building, you can carry on with us, take it in-house, or hand it to another team - it's yours.
Can you work with our existing developer or team?
Yes. We can build alongside an existing developer, hand off to one once the MVP is live, or continue as the ongoing technical team - whatever fits where you're at.
What happens after the MVP is validated?
If the evidence is good, most founders want to keep building. We help you go from a validated MVP to a real, scalable SaaS product - and can stay on for ongoing development or fractional CTO support as you grow.
